Parcel International is a part of Tailormade Logistics Europe (TALE B.V.) TALE attaches great importance to ensuring your privacy and protecting your personal data. TALE will handle your personal data with care and only disclose them to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of the agreement (for instance to the carrier you have chosen) with you, or if TALE is obliged to do so by law.

 

Processing of personal data

If you use the services of TALE or contact us because you are interested in our services, we will process certain information about you. We collect and use your personal data only to provide prominent products, services, websites and mobile applications.
Our privacy policy makes clear which data we collect and how and for what purpose we use your data. We also offer more clarity about how you can access and control your personal data.

Which personal data do we collect?
We collect personal data when you use our services, so that we can provide you with the best possible experience.

Personal data are collected when you:

• Create an account;
• Book a shipment;
• Ask for help or information from our service team;  
• Complete the contact form or subscribe to our newsletter;
• Apply for a job or participate in other activities for which information is required.

These personal data include your:

• Contact details, including your name, company name, e-mail address, telephone number, delivery and billing address and booking history;
• Login and account details including password and user ID;
• Payment details such as account number and/or credit card details. 

TALE processes your personal data for the following purposes:

•    To implement the agreement that you conclude with TALE;
•    To comply with obligations under applicable laws and regulations;
•    To contact you after you have filled In a web form and asked us to contact you (by telephone);
•    To approach you with information about our products and services via e-mail (marketing purposes);
•    To improve and optimise the operation and performance of our services (again, including our websites and mobile applications);
•    To detect and prevent fraud and misuse of our services and systems;
•    To collect statistical information about the use of our services;
•    To understand and analyse how you use our services, and which products and services are most relevant to you.

 

Sharing data with third parties

We may share your personal data with affiliated companies within our company, with third parties with whom we collaborate so that we may integrate their services into our own services, and with trusted third parties, should they perform services on our behalf, such as:

•    Analysing our services and customer demographics;

•    Customer relationship management.

Third-party websites

Our website and mobile applications contain links to websites of third parties. We are not responsible for the privacy policy or the content of third-party websites. Please read the privacy policy of the website you visit.

We only share your personal data when necessary for a third party to be able to perform the requested services or when this is necessary on our behalf. WEBSITE ANALYSis

We use multiple web analytics tools provided by our service partners, such as Google Analytics, to gather information about your interaction with our website or mobile applications, including which pages you visit, which site you visited before you came to our website, how much time you spent on each page, which operating system and web browser you are using and your network and IP information. We use the information provided by these tools to improve our services. These tools place permanent cookies in your browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit our website. Such a cookie can only be used by the service provider (e.g.: Google for Google Analytics). The information collected via cookies can be transferred to and stored by these service partners on servers in a country other than where you live. Although the information collected does not contain any personal data, such as name, address, invoice details, etc., the information collected is used and shared by this service provider in accordance with their own privacy policy.

 

Targeted advertisement

Targeted advertisement or offers based on your interests may be offered to you, based on your activities on our websites.  These offers are shown as various product banners when you are surfing. In addition, we collaborate with third parties for the management of advertising on our websites and on other websites. Access, update or delete your data

To access your personal data, to view or update it, log in to your account and go to your account settings. It is also possible to subscribe or unsubscribe from our newsletter which we use to communicate our latest updates, news and offers.

Deleting your cookie history

You can delete your cookie history by browser in the following ways.

Delete cookies in Internet Explorer
Click on the gear at the top right > Internet options> General tab. Under Browsing history, click on Delete. Select 'Cookies and website data’ and click on Delete.

Delete cookies in Firefox
Click on the icon with 3 lines at the top right. Click on Options > Privacy & Security. Under Cookies and website data, click Delete data.

Delete cookies in Chrome
Click on the icon with 3 dots at the top right. Click History -> Clear browsing data. Select Cookies and other site data > Clear data.

Delete cookies in Safari
At the top left, click Safari -> Preferences -> Privacy -> Delete saved cookies and data -> Manage website data -> Delete all.

Delete cookies in Microsoft Edge
Click on the icon with 3 dots at the top right. Click Settings -> Clear browsing history. Select Cookies and saved website data and click on Delete.

 

Your data protection rights

Under the Personal Data Protection Act, you are entitled to ask TALE to inspect the personal data we have collected about you. When we receive such a written request, TALE will respond to this request within four weeks. If the personal data collected about you are incorrect, you can ask us to correct, supplement, delete or hide it.
